Early Works

These are my earliest attempt to develop a consistent style combining the traditional Sumi-e technique and western watercolor skills. This is also the beginning of me re-interpreting subjects inherited through my Asian cultural heritage. While most of these pieces were young, underdeveloped, and explorative, I see these as an important segment of my artist journey, and can easily trace the growth of my current style from these early works.
