The Story Behind

A World of Spirits is a new acrylic mini canvas body of work I started in 2021, based upon images I’ve taken during my road trips. In China, we believe there is energy (Spirit) among everything and at every place. This series is the personification and manifestation of this invisible energy. They will take different forms at different locations, interacting with the objects around them the same way a curious child would, because that’s what spirituality is about in the Asian culture - it’s the pure love of the world around us.
