Like moths drawn by fatal flames?
It was painful to see and to not act.
But was it kindness, compassion or self-indulgence?
It was unbelievable how you do not hear your own silent scream.
Under broad daylight, crumbling into the darkness behind.
Fascinations overrunning. Carnivores lurking.
Waiting to get a bite of you. And maybe a bite of me.
You chant love and passion.
And we flock like moths blinded by fatal flames.
But now I see.
Your temple has turned into ruins.
