The Story Behind

Blue hydrangea stands for apologies. Violet hydrangea stands for a deep desire to understand.

We often don't realize: without making peace with themselves and resolving their own struggles first, they are doing nothing but feeding into the generational trauma.

The women in my family place themselves in Messiah's position. They try to save others without saving themselves. They only know to sacrifice not understanding that some do not deserve their sacrifices. Every female in my bloodline seems to attract the wrong kind of men, do things we regret.

A curse, per my mother's words? I don't think so. Generational trauma? That sounds more like it.

It took me a lot of pain, a lot of repeated mistakes, a lot of regrets to finally understand that there is something run with me. Luckily, the mistakes can be undone, and the wounds can be healed.

The first step to healing is acknowledgement.
